Helping Organizations Safely Reopen

COVID-19 has changed the way we operate in the workplace. As we move towards reopening, the safety of employers, employees, and customers is of the utmost importance. To help prepare your team to return to work with the appropriate precautions, the Piedmont Triad Regional Workforce Development Board has developed a two-module training program. Organizations participating in the Workplace Restart initiative will receive COVID-19 specific safety training and up to 2 protective face masks for each employee, subject to availability.

Registration

This initiative is intended for organizations to register on behalf of their employees. Each business should complete one registration form and indicate the total number of employees in need of training and protective face masks. Please click the link below and complete the registration form. A member of our Business Solutions Team will contact you about next steps to complete training and obtain protective face masks for employees, subject to availability.

Training Modules

Workplace Restart consists of two COVID-19 specific modules:

          Module I – Workplace Readiness

In this module, trainees will understand the steps needed to prepare the workplace for operation in the wake of COVID-19. This includes OSHA recommendations for shared spaces, facilities setup, and best practice for safely bringing employees back to on-site operations. This module is intended for leadership, management, and human resources.

          Module II – Employee Readiness

In this module, trainees will learn best practice for social-distancing, proper handwashing, and other personal safety measures. This module is intended for all staff and employees.

Protective Face Masks

Upon completion of Module I employer training, employers will be provided with up to two protective face masks per employee, subject to availability. Details regarding face masks will be provided following registration.
