Volunteer Opportunities With Us
- Rain Garden
Do you have interest in learning how to install a rain garden, but you're not sure how to get started? We pair up with environmental organizations and cooperative extensions to provide local residents with the means and materials to construct and maintain a rain garden. Whether you're interested in becoming certified in residential rain garden installation, or you need assistance in constructing one in your community, we are here to help.
Whether it's on campus, on a boat in the river, or on the bank of a stream, we help our member communities facilitate various cleanups throughout the year. We're always looking to coordinate with more volunteer groups to get involved with cleanups. For more information, head to our Cleanups page.
- Storm Drain Marking
There are various storm drains throughout the Piedmont Triad region within our communities that need new or updated markings. Marking stormdrains helps warn and inform the public why nothing, even if it seems "harmless", should be dumped down a storm drain. For more information on how you can get involved, head to our Storm Drain Marking page.
