If you are a food pantry in Rockingham County interested in enhancing quality of care, you’ll want to sign up for this informative session, offered in collaboration with RAFI’s Come to the Table program and Reidsville Area Foundation!

In this FREE workshop, we’ll:

Explore strategies and opportunities that increase the quality of care given by food pantries

Learn how to increase access to fresh produce

Discover ways to offer more culturally relevant food options

Gain insights on transitioning your operation into a pantry of choice model

Participate in facilitated discussions for shared learning and connection

Access valuable resources to enhance your pantry’s impact

A minimum 20% to 24% cost share of total project cost is required for all applicants. Your total cost share will vary depending on the size of project. Projects for electric vehicle charging stations (EVSE) will be accepted!

Application deadline is May 1, 2025.Since 1994, the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF) has awarded matching grants to local governments to reach their park and public access goals to improve the quality of life in their communities. The Park and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF) grant fund provides matching grants, of up to $500,000, to local governmental agencies for recreational purposes. Awarded funds are to be used to acquire land for recreational use, to protect the state's natural resources, and to build or renovate recreational facilities. More Information ➡️

Presentations will feature outdoor economic opportunities, adaptive trail demo, cutting edge technology, and other tactics to bring your trails to the next level. Mayodan Land Development Plan
Your Input is Needed

As Mayodan grows, the town is faced with increasing challenges to maintain its unique character while meeting the evolving needs of our residents and businesses.
To address these needs, Mayodan is working with the Piedmont Triad Regional Council (PTRC) to update its Land Development Plan (LDP). This updated plan will guide the town's long-term land use growth and development for the next 10-20 years.
