“Project Family” is a division of Project Re-entry that provides support and services for the family of incarcerated individuals, with a focus on protecting the best interests of the children involved.
Project Family assists incarcerated parents in becoming better able to care for their children through specialized case management, coaching, peer-directed personal development instruction, and vocational skills building to promote self sufficiency. Caregivers and children within the same family are eligible for support and related programming.
How the program works:
Referrals are accepted from caregivers of children with an incarcerated parent, local partner agencies, and local school districts. Note: Project Family services are currently only available in Forsyth County.
