Across the region, more than 30 community service agencies receive funding through the Home and Community Care Block Grant to provide services to assist older adults to maintain their independence.
The Area Agency on Aging will receive $20,000 in grant funding from NADTC to organize strategic collaborations to identify ways to address gaps in transportation services to older adults after they are released from hospitals and emergency rooms.
