We Need Your Input!
The Piedmont Triad Regional Council Area Agency on Aging is conducting a survey as a part of the upcoming four-year plan. The Plan will guide the work of the Area Agency on Aging over the next four years. An important component of the planning process is input from the community, caregivers, service providers, and most importantly, older Americans themselves. The four year plan survey is a way to engage the public in the planning process.
The aging plan survey entitled, “The Future of Aging in the Piedmont Triad,” is asking citizens to give their opinions and insights on services for older adults (60+ in age). These services include transportation; hot meal delivery to older adults who are homebound; and programs to help with caregivers, to name a few.
The survey contains about 50 questions and will take about fifteen minutes to complete. Participants are asked to rank the services as being “very important,” “somewhat important” or “less important”, as well as assess the participant’s knowledge about the services. The survey does not ask for names, but does inquire about a person’s county of residence and other demographic information such as age range and race/ethnicity.
The survey will remain open until February 21, 2020. The surveys are available in both digital and paper forms. If you or your group would like a paper version of the survey mailed to you, please call 336-904-0300 extension 2019 to make your request.
