50th Anniversary Celebration!
The Terrace at the Greensboro Coliseum was packed with folks from across the Piedmont Triad helping us celebrate 50 years of service to the region.

The Grady Hunter Award for Regional Excellence: The Grady Hunter Award honors a current PTRC Board member who demonstrates dedication and service to the region.
Nate Hall, Chairman of the Caswell County Board of Commissioners
Jackie Morris, Chairman of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners
The Randall Billings Public Service Award: The Randall Billings Award honors an employee of a local government in the Piedmont Triad that is committed to public service and regionalism.
Terry Bralley, President of the Davie County Economic Development Commission
Randy McCaslin, Deputy City Manager, City of High Point
John Ogburn, Manager, City of Asheboro
Mary Joan Pugh, recently retired Deputy Director of the NC Zoo
Founders' Award: The Founders' Award recognizes a regional leader who has demonstrated a long standing commitment and superior impact on the PTRC and on regionalism as a whole.
Dan Pugh, former Councilman and Mayor of Lewisville
Dillard Burnette, former Councilman of the City of King, co-Chair of the PTRC following the merger of PTCOG and NWPCOG
Randy Billings, former Executive Director of the PTCOG
Jim Melvin, former Mayor of Greensboro and former Chair of the PTCOG from 1974 - 1976
Darrell Frye, 34 years as a member of the PTRC Board, past chair of the PTCOG and of the PTRC
