Volunteer with Us

to Improve the Health of Older Adults!

Post Date:08/27/2018

The Piedmont Triad Regional Council Area Agency on Aging provides evidence-based health education in the community for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers. We rely on volunteers to facilitate the programs in order to have a wide reach in providing this education in 12 counties. These programs make a significant difference in the health of over 800 individuals in our area each year, and with your help, we can reach even more. Workshop outcomes include increased confidence in managing chronic conditions, reduction in falls, and increased physical activity. If you are passionate about health and wellness and enjoy working with older adults, please see more information below about several trainings we have coming up. Join us in making a difference in your community!
