The Thomasville City Beautification Commission is a group of dedicated volunteers commissioned by the Thomasville City Council to beautify and enhance our community and to inspire others to do likewise. Through the commission's efforts and through awareness, Thomasville benefits in terms of Economic Development and recruitment, as well as a sense of pride in a clean and beautiful community.
The commission is also responsible for a monthly Thomasville litter sweep. The litter sweeps are always the 2nd Saturday of the month (weather permitting) at 8:00 a.m. Everyone meets at the Clock Tower in downtown. Bring gloves, tools, appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes. We'll provide bags and safety vests. Groups are welcome.
