Community Drain Marker Pop-Up at Saddlecreek Neighborhood, Greensboro NC
REGISTER HERE
Hosted by the City of Greensboro Water Resources & Horsepen Creek Collective
Unlike wastewater, stormwater in the City of Greensboro is not treated. Any pollutants or debris that enter these drains lead directly to our lakes and streams, impacting aquatic life and contributing to localized flooding.
Help protect our local waterways by joining us for an evening of placing drain markers in the Saddlecreek neighborhood for Guilford Creek Week! These markers serve as a reminder that our storm drains lead directly to our lakes and streams.
Volunteers needed!

All supplies provided.
Registration required at
greensboro-nc.gov/CreekWeekRSVP. Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes and complete a short training and waiver form before work begins.
Location: Saddlecreek - Greensboro, NC 27410 (Specific meeting location(s) and details will be sent out two business days before the event).
