World Ocean Day is an internationally celebrated day for people everywhere to unite, celebrate, and take action for our shared blue planet. The GSC invites guests of all ages to celebrate the wonders of the ocean, our connectedness with the ocean, and how we can all help protect the ocean.

This year's celebration includes turtle and ocean crafts, trivia, temporary tattoos, a bubble station, photo ops with our penguin mascot, special aquarium talks, penguin painting sales to benefit the AZA SAFE: Corals program, and more! Additional activities will also be hosted by our event sponsor, Wet n' Wild Emerald Pointe, and our Greensboro community partners.

World Ocean Day activities are free with general admission or GSC membership.
