NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Surry County Housing Consortium (SCHC) will conduct a public hearing to receive citizen comments on the FY2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and the 2025-2026 Annual Action Plan on:

The purpose of the Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan is to specify how the Surry County Housing Consortium will address housing and community needs for the use of the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program.
For FY2025-2026, the SCHC anticipates receiving $536,972.93 in HOME funds. Citizens and interested parties are encouraged to examine and submit written comments on the proposed 2025-2026, Annual Action Plan for the HOME Program. Digital copies are available by email request. The Annual Action Plan is subject to revisions. If funding is again adjusted by HUD, the contingency plan is to adjust all changes to activities proportionally to the prescribed decrease or increase.
A 30-day comment period commences on August 22, 2025, and ends September 24, 2025.
