How does citizen science contribute to scientific research? Learn about the Great Southeast Pollinator Census, a citizen science project designed to capture a snapshot of pollinator activity in communities across North Carolina and the Southeast Participants will support the vital role that pollinators play in our environment by collecting data for research to help conserve pollinator populations.

Harriet McCarthy, NC State Extension Master Gardener volunteer of Forsyth County, will be presenting this program.

This class is part of the Forks on Friday series. Where garden forks meet dinner forks - attendees are welcome to bring their lunch while learning gardening skills. These programs are presented by N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, and the NC State Extension Master Gardener volunteers of Forsyth County.

Programs will be held in-person at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, 1450 Fairchild Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
